Established in 1670, it has a population nearing 30,000 and boarders with Sta. Cruz to the North, Masinloc South and Pangasinan and Tarlac on the East.

Tourist attractions:

Islands: Potipot Island, a somewhat undeveloped paradise set in quiet waters.

Lakes & Eco Destinations: Lake Uacon offers a wonderful unspoiled eco system of mangroves, pristine waters and is home to local sea birds. For those interested in Eco tourism, a boat ride through this wonderful lake is a must.

Caves: There are also some limestone formations and caves in the mountain areas.

Beaches: There are a number of Resorts within the Uacon area. Many of which offer boat trips to Potipot Island.
